Provide a quality service in administrating, management and maintenance of all client contracts, procurement, proposal and project documents and actions throughout their respective lifecycles.
As the founder and CEO of ContraXsolutions, Inc., Rene Govantes has developed virtual contracts, procurement, and project management models to support small and medium-sized companies engaged in the federal market space. He has provided consulting and contractor services in accounting, contracts, procurement, proposal, and project management.
Rene Govantes is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in contracts, procurement, subcontracts, supply chain, pricing, finance, and project management. He has held various senior positions in different companies and has a proven record of accomplishment of successfully managing complex contracts and procurements.
AS a qualified professional with more than 30 years of extensive experience in contracts, procurement, subcontracts, supply chain, pricing, finance, and project management. Rene has expertise in the management and administration of commercial and federal government contracting, and is a proven negotiator of high dollar, complex contracts, and procurements in various industries such as aerospace, IT, construction, engineering, manufacturing, and research and development.
Rene has a strong educational background, having obtained a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Rollins College and an M.S. in Acquisition Management & Procurement Law from Northrop University School of Law.
In terms of professional experience, he has held various senior leadership positions with several companies. He worked as a Sr. Manager of Contracts at a major aerospace company where he was responsible for managing international, domestic, foreign, and military contracts of various complexities for hardware, development, engineering, and technical services and support.
Additionally, Rene worked as a Contracts Manager with another major aerospace company, where he managed a multi-billion-dollar Contractor Logistics Support contract with the USAF. He negotiated contracts, managed major subcontractors, and provided program management support.
As Manager, Contracts with a major international logistics and development company, Rene has managed high-profile and high-dollar programs for the Department of State and the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations. He developed subcontractor and supply chain relationships and managed all procurement actions and activities in support. Of two embassies.
